Eagle Recognises the Best of the Best at Awards Night - 9th June 2006
Continuing his outstanding performance, Ajith Fernando once again became Eagle Insurance Company's Best Financial Services Advisor for the Year 2005. He collected the coveted award at the recent Eagle Awards Night held at the BMICH, for the ninth consecutive year in Eagle's 17-year old history.
Regional Manager Galle Priyashantha Siriwardena bagged the award for the Best Regional Manager. G K Dantanarayana's was adjudged the Best Team and they were from Ambalantota.
"We follow a very stringent criteria in selecting the winners", explained the General Manager Life Distribution Mr.Ronald Cheyne "in fact our standards are more stringent than comparative international bench marks". "There is tough competition. To come on top is a real achievement" he added.
A strict criteria was followed to select the qualifiers to attend the Awards Night. The packed hall was a gathering of Eagle's super performers who had contributed towards the Company's exemplary results during the year 2005. Among them were winners of 105 Silver Eagles and 55 Golden Eagles awarded to those who had done best. Distinguishing themselves from the rest were seven Golden Eagle Diamond winners and six Golden Eagle Platinum winners.
Meanwhile, Eagle's super Financial Services Advisor Ajith Fernando will attend the insurance industry's prestigious global conference, the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for the seventh successive year. It is the annual gathering in USA of the best insurers in the world. He has also qualified once again to be admitted to the 'Court of the Table' of the Million Dollar Round Table, a rare honour which is reserved for insurance sales performers with over triple the minimum requirement for MDRT. He was first admitted to the Court of the Table in 2001 and has since maintained his presence there due to his superlative performance. Ajith Fernando maintains that planning, consistency and preparation are the key attributes to his success. Twenty two other high achievers are also qualified to attend the MDRT conference.
